Reasons to smile

We are still enjoying break! Yesterday we stayed home ALL day! We did not leave for anything.
Liah decided to dress-up and enjoy the day.

She looks so grown-up lately!

She also played Princess, heaven help the house!

The butterflies started hatching.

The girls woke up to find one out of the chrysalis.

My Mom and I went to visit Manda at school.

She is an awesome teacher and has a great class.

This is outside her door. She teaches kindergartners with autism.

She works at Meridian in Gilbert, a fantastic school!

I am so proud of her!

When I got home I found all 5 butterflies hatched! The girls and Daddy got to watch 3 hatch. It was quite interesting.

Both girls are on meds. Liah has a sinus infection and Mai has an ear infection. That doesn't stop them from posing and having a good time!

We are loving break.

Nike Family

Our family has a small obsession with Nike products. Even the girls know and love the swoosh! We geared up this morning to go to breakfast!

Dear Chris,

Thank you for our date. You are so awesome. I don't think I tell you enough ( I know you will look at this, so I shall proclaim my love now...)! I appreciate that you took me to my favorite spot! MMM! I love that you pose for pictures cause you know it makes me happy. I am secretly glad that you are so stinkin good looking (I know~ vanity!)! I am glad you walked around the malls with me while I teeteed in my tall shoes.

I am grateful that you sat through me trying on 7 bathing suits, only to buy NONE, all the while telling me that I looked good or "Hot" (which I love)! I love that you give me butterflies and still pick on me like we are dating. I am thankful that not a silent moment went by because even though we live, parent and work together we still find tons to talk about. I love that you make me laugh.

I love that our entire shopping trip revolved around finding Liah the PERFECT shoe. You are the best Dad! Thanks for being my partner. I know I drive you crazy, it's my job! ;) I love you to pieces CLG! xo-Tam

Her first sleepover. :(

Liah went to her first sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa's! She was way more excited than I was! This is the first time she will be away from home without me. This is the first time I won't be with her overnight (only exception was when I was in the hospital with Maia). We are those parents that don't do trips without the kids! :(

So excited!!

That means it is just us and Maia! Maia keeps asking where Liah is! She yells, "Wiah, where are youuuuu?!"

We got ice cream treats and snuggled! I miss Liah. She really wasn't into talking on the phone! :( Heartbroken! I cried. Tomorrow we will go over and smooch all over her. Maia is actually going to join up with Liah while Chris and I go on a date! Wow~ we have been doing that more frequently. It is fabulous. I sure love my hot hubby!

Oh, and we get special time with the "first" born, Stella Marie.

Maia's 2nd Birthday

The day was great. Maia woke up to find the house decorated and her party outfit waiting at the door! We had chicken for breakfast (her fave) and got ready for the party.

Gaga, Gapa and very special guests came to the party! Auntie Manda and Auntie Lauren came as a very convincing Minnie and Mickey. It was the absolute best. We played and opened presents right away. Maia got clothes, books, doll stuff, a race track, a basketball hoop, a whale pool, a picnic table, sand with sand toys, art stuff and tickets (with coordinating outfits) for Disney on ice! WOW!~

We ate more chicken and pizza. We played LOTS outside. It was a blast. We slid into the whale pool, went slip-n-sliding, played volleyball and ran around!

We ate the "special order" birthday cake. Thanks for all birthday wishes, texts and cards. Maia is a very lucky little girl! Mark your calendars: Gaga's birthday is April 6th, Grampy's is the 24th... start planning! :)
