Easter Madness

After Disney on Ice we went to Grammy and Grampy's for dinner and a sleepover.
The Easter Bunny stopped at their house a day early to hide baskets for us!

We got some cool surprises!
And some sweet treats!
The next morning we drove home. When we got there we discovered that the Easter Bunny had been to our house and decorated and left a bunch of surprises! (Thanks Gaga!)
He even nibbled some of our carrots!
Gaga, Gapa and Aunt Manda came over.
We searched for eggs and our baskets!
We were very lucky to find so many hidden treats!
We got toys, DVDs, new water bottles, clothes, all sorts of fun things!
We wore our new dresses!
Auntie Manda got a basket too!
(Liah was so not into pictures this past weekend!)
Look a glowing Gaga~ we think it's her halo~ she is an angel!
Auntie Lauren came over after some "car trouble" or shall we call it Saturday night's aftermath! We are special cause she only celebrates Easter with us!
Gaga always has these fancy tricks. She was whistling through blades of grass?!
Stella loved it!
It was a beautiful day so we played outside!
Then, we had the heated egg cracking challenge. So intense!
After many hits......
Lauren, the rookie, won!
Maia loved this game! Last year she was the winner. This year she attacked every egg in sight. Her shell was cracked to pieces!
Mom made it all through Sunday like a big girl. Little did she know Dad had ordered her "eeter bocket" and it was held up in Wisconsin! It came Monday! Inside her Nike basket:
Dad rocks! Mom is ready for the gym!
Thank you Easter Bunny!

Disney on Ice

This past weekend we got all Moused-out and went to Disney on Ice.
Maia got the tickets from Gaga and Gapa for her birthday!

We were in the 5th row from the ice!
We got $10 cotton candy with this rockin Dash mask!
Liah was so into the show. It was awesome to witness! (Notice her joy having to take a pic with Mom!)
I enjoy embarrassing them already!
We ate lots of yummy snacks!
Dash or Dad!?
This picture sums up Maia's experience! WooWoo!
It was an unforgettable family adventure!

What a ham!

Everyday Maia never fails to make us laugh. She is full of personality!
She has a great sense of humor.

And can sweet talk us into anything!
She is such a precious little stinker!

Happy Birthday to Gaga!

Gaga's birthday is today! We love her so much! We don't know what we'd do without her! We celebrated her day on Sunday. We started by going to church. Then, we went to breakfast. After breakfast we came back to our house for presents, cake and fun!
We all combined our gifts together!

Gaga got pictures, an outfit, girlie stuff, magic putty and fun things all in a beach bag.
We helped her open the loot!
The theme was " random leftover birthday themes from years past!"
I love Gaga's face in this pic. Maia was so excited about the polish. She picked green and Liah picked pink. Maia was screaming about it!
Manda reminded us several times we owe her a BIG birthday because she claims we have skipped hers the last 2 years (we have, but for good reason!)! I reminded everyone I turn 30 in June!
Liah picked out the dress!
Chris has decided a COMBINED june extravaganza for all big days: my Dad's 65th, my 30th, Liah's 4th, his 34th and our 6 year anniversary. I believe (as does Liah) that I deserve my OWN day!
Manda got the cake. The green frosting will be stained on us for the week!
We sang all versions of Happy Birthday!
The girls helped Gaga with the candles.
Yummy!
Even Stella enjoyed a piece!
We enjoyed more nice weather!
Have a great day Gaga. We love you more than words could express! xoxoxo!

What we have been up to....

We returned to school after a fab 2 week break! It is the busy season (for teachers, teeheehee)!
So here's what you've missed:
We have been enjoying the weather taking walks (on this occasion to McDonald's).

The butterflies hatched so we released them!
Maia had an interesting approach.
They then chased them around the yard.
We did lots of playing!
Maia continued to makes us laugh and go crazy. Terrible 2s is an understatement with this one!
We had a picnic.
It was a nice weather week, but windy, windy, windy!
Then Maia broke out in hives (and no it wasn't Fifths disease). They would fade and flare! We took her to the Dr. and she established it was viral or a reaction to the ammox she was on for an ear infection. So we changed meds.
Days later, and lots of Benadryl, we have distinguished it must be viral. :( Stinks!
She is getting better!
Liah is continuing to be Miss Independent. She requested "skinny jeans" with a tucked in shirt to show the skinny. Ughhh, too big, too fast!
EVERYONE went back to school. Liah was on the letter "x" so we were on an "Exit hunt!" We found several at the Mart!
It was a crazy busy week. The week ahead is worse: school, football, board meeting, dance, Award breakfast, pep assembly, Awards ceremony, Disney on Ice and Easter~ oh my!

Dear God,

We are all very sorry we didn't make it to church last week. You see, on our way, this happened:
to Manda's car. However God, thank you for allowing this accident to be this vehicle's fault:

(Above picture is the OTHER side of the guilty party's vehicle, no mirror or running board from a previous accident. Come to find out she has had 5 claims in the last year, oops!)
Being the family we are, we had to all meet at the scene of the crime, the QT. You see, Manda was actually running ahead of schedule and was stopping for some gum (we go to a very progressive church, gum chewing welcome!) Thank you for understanding, thanks for perfecting Manda's drifting skills (cause that's what the woman who hit her tried to say), thanks for everyone being unharmed!
Love~ Gteam
