Changes

Monday my Mom had surgery. It took longer then we thought, but it went well.
She is on her road to recovery. We went to Mercy Gilbert to wait.

The girls spent some of the time wreaking havoc in the hospital and some sleeping in the truck!
We were so excited to see her after recovery.
She is the family ROCK. We all depend on her!
I chose to not post the loopy, puffy post-recovery shots. She is one hot Grandma, those do her no justice!
Because of Gaga's recovery, she can't watch the girls. We had to get a babysitter. She is terrific.
The girls are happy going, I know her well, she is amazing.
We are blessed. But, we sure do miss our Gaga. I appreciated her before, it grows deeper everyday. The transition has not been easy, but the G-team has pulled together.
We are working as a team to accomplish things that were easier with Gaga around! We are a strong bunch.
We love you Gaga and can't wait for you to get better. We miss you. We thank you Mrs. Hartman we are eternally grateful. Here's to week #2!

Playing Catch-up

Last Saturday we went to Aunties for dinner and swimming.
She made salmon, chicken, rice, rolls and we had donuts for dessert!

We ate at her newly refinished dining room table.
After dinner we let our bellies rest!
Then it was off to the pool.
The water is still a little chilly.
But, it was an awesome time!
After the pool we fed the ducks and picked some flowers.
Then, we played with Nemo.
Sometimes, we love him a little too much.
He was glad to see us go!
Thanks Auntie!

Another girl!?

Don't be alarmed, not a baby. Heaven help us if when we do try again it is a girl!

Miss Dora is now one of the gals.
They dress alike and everything!

Maia even manages to fight with her! :)

New ride

Gaga and Gapa got a new ride! Isn't she cute!

Mud caves, cheese popcorn and swimming, oh my!

We spent some quality time with the Cistolo Family!
We were excited to kick off swimming season!

Maia is all about the outdoors!
Some of us braved the unheated pool!
Others stuck close to the hot tub.
We rested in between swims!
We enjoyed some cheesy popcorn! Thanks Aunt Lisa!
Then, we went back outside for more fun!
We explored a "mud cave"
It was way fun!
And way messy! (Notice Mom's stiff arm!)
I thought it was great to get dirty!
We were all tuckered out after the long adventurous day!
It was snuggle-buggle time!
Thank you Cistolo Fam!

Pat's Run

Coach B, Tiffany and the G-Team met up with the Cistolo Men for Pat's Run (or walk).
We took strollers for the 4.2 miles, cause even though we have children that walk, that's long!

Chris was G-Team's "driver"
We started off strong! bahahaha~
Mike was the "driver" for his crew.
We ended up pushing a lot of empty strollers!
Even little Maia walked, ran, tripped, fell,
and tantrumed her way through a few miles!
It was fun!

Amazing!

Liah will be 4 in June. I know all parents think their children are brilliant and brag, my darling child really is! (teeheehee!) She is a little sponge and soaks up everything. She knows letters, sounds out, reads sight words, knows numbers, has an awesome vocabulary, the list goes on!
Plus, she is writing! All on her OWN! I totally cried.

So proud!
