....when Liah wakes up from nap with a full list of demands. Our VERY intense child is extremely easy to read. We are well aware that usually this means trouble! Armed with the camera we tried our best to document all blog appropriate antics while also making and cleaning up from dinner, ensuring safety to Miss Maia, pleasing Stella and running our 3 ring circus!
Anything and everything that could accessorize rule breaking was taken hostage..... Maia's blanket, Mom's glasses....
Mom's waist.......
Stella's water bowl ("What path should we take? Let's follow the wet footprints!) Okay Devilish Dora the evil twin of our favorite adventure seeking explorer.
Paper towels to clean the spill..... that later would be shredded into confetti size pieces and tossed about the living room (you know the non-childproofed room that makes me feel like I am organized, tidy and sane!)
The garbage can and some drumsticks....
all while sporting her jammies (which by the way did not actually make it into bed because of some other misfortunes) over her cute outfit. Needless to say, this blog was "paused" momentarily as the "monster" flung open her door with more demands. We have to say, while we threatened some "reds," made some poppings and had serious talks, we also had to laugh. She is an absolute crack-up. If it wasn't our rules she was breaking, our house she was taking over, our buttons she was pushing, we would be all out rolling on the floor laughing. Liah is our perfect challenge. We pray we can take this same approach when she is 12-13 & 14! Ha! For now, we will just enjoy our little love, even on nights like this! (At least she transformed back to our sweet little "Kinpants" before we smooched and snuggled her off to sleep (both times... pre and post door flinging!) :) We love you to pieces Liah Jane!
