Today was the big championship game at FHS!
We were all geared up, thanks to Dad!
We enjoyed the thrilling game!
At the half we were tied at 12! (Nail-biting time!)
Then.... LATE in the 4th.... Copper Basin scored, going up 18-12! Yikes!
No worries though, the coach, our Main Man, Dad stayed calm and confident!
With 30 seconds left, they passed and ran it in for a TD! Go EAGLES!! We were tied at 18! However, Dad trucked his players up the middle to get the 2 pt. conversion! (See video below!) The final score..... an UNBELIEVABLE 20-18! Anthem Eagles take the crown on the shoulders of our #1 Dad!!!
The guys soaked Dad with a water bottle bath (this is Jr. High.. no fancy schmancy Gatorade!)!
We delighted in the honor of romping on the field! Hek, we are royalty... we are the Coach's family ;)!
Grammy and Grampy came out to cheer on the victory!
We enjoyed a celebration dinner! Mmmmm
I (Tami) was so excited! You can take the poms away from the girl, but you can't take the cheerleader from her heart! I screamed, rahed, jumped, cried and did this while taping! Enjoy!
