This entire past week has been a doozy! Dad was away all week at football camp! Everyone knows that means Mom is alone.... thus a wreck! However, Gaga, Gapa and Aunt Manda came to the rescue to spend countless hours amongst the chaos and babysat the Gteam.
Gapa brought lunch!!!
We went to the mall!
Aunt Amanda was quite the trooper! She spent nights at the house and was Mom's surrogate partner! She will wait awhile to have children! :)
Please notice Maia's "sharing" face. Wow Mom and Dad have their hands full with us!
We bought the tiara and wand for Maia's room. I just think it looks more appropriate on me. I am the Princess (only because Mom claims to be the queen!)!
Maia got some new hairclips for her combover look. She is too cute!
Ribbons-
Giraffes- (They are in all different colors!!)
We went with Gaga to Sonic and saw this funny truck. "Got poo?" The gentleman was a plumber. He stopped and gave us "Got poop?" buttons! Look for them in future blogs!
We went to spend time at Gaga and Gapa's for more food and slip-n-sliding!
Maia is Gapa Jr.!
Even though I have my own camera I steal Mom's at times!
We had a big day planned. We were going to clean the house really well, finish Maia's room and get ready for Daddy's return on Saturday.
However, these pictures were taken right before MF2 hit our house! MF2 (a private name) is the flu bug that ran ramped through our house.
At about 12 noon Aunt Manda was struck with the blasted influenza! Right about the time I detected her puking.... Mom fell weak and hit the couch. Gapa picked up Auntie at 1:45. Mom was still stagnant and I was left to run the house. At about 4:30pm Mom sang some potty praises. Naturally, without Daddy, Mom called Gaga. She left ailing Aunt Manda to come and watch us while Mom was sick. (Secretly, Mom was hoping Gaga would hold her hair back and rub her head!) Well, at about 7pm that plan was foiled when I started puking! Have I told you I don't handle the flu all too well or that Mom has a horrible gag reflux? This led to Gaga's vigilant puke watch. Maia, thank God literally, has thus been spared. Gapa ran directly to the store for the ingredients to the beloved "Magic Potion!" It is a concoction of OJ, karyo syrup and ginger ale. It is a throw up buster! No joke! Mom took the lead taking the potion at about 10.... done puking! Next came Aunt Manda via the phone.... potion control by midnight. I was reluctant, but after winning "most puke" award I was force fed the miracle at 2:30am! I too was done. Secretly, in the middle of the night Gaga got sick... she willed it away!!?? The next morning we came to find out that Gapa was sick all night. Aunt Manda administered the potion... he too was cured! Darned MF2.... thank you Gaga's "Magic Potion!"
Saturday, feeling a bit better... we kicked it into full gear. Mom and Gaga (mostly Gaga) cleaned the house, did laundry, remade beds, disinfected the entire Gteam castle and had time to spare for the arrival of....................
DADDY!!! Boy did we miss you! Boy did you miss an interesting week... along with your birthday and anniversary. Mom promises a retake of both events this week!
Thank you Gaga, you are an angel.
