Team Itty Bitty

I had my first soccer game/practice on Saturday. I am on team Itty Bitty. It's just a beginning group for kids 18 months to 3 years old. The next group is at age 4! I get to wear this cool shirt. Mom isn't pleased because you try to match cute shorts and hair bows to orange and teal blue!
I am on the older end of my group. I probably could handle the "team" sports, but for now this rocks.
I really enjoyed learning skills under the direction of Coach Michael (Mom says he is just Mike, I argued with her... she's wrong!).
Mom and Dad get to participate to help me out. This week, Mom ran around like a fool and Dad was the photographer, Maia keeper and bag holder.
I had to tell Mom what to do a lot. She didn't mind, she was only a cheerleader! :)
I took team pictures and individual ones after the game. Mom and Dad bought some to share. I know they will do the fancy "take a picture of a picture" to blog when they get them! I was so good for the group pic. I was one of the only kids that didn't have to have their Mommy in the picture or near by screaming and yelling to keep them happy. To be honest I was surprised my Mom didn't just jump in for fun or that she didn't do the splits in the front! I also was the only Itty Bitty who only had one proof taken of my individual pic. The lady was so surprised how well I posed with the ball. She obviously does not know my parents!
I was so tuckered out after soccer I passed out on the blue chair! I can't wait for next week!
I have also been working on my wink. Grandpa started me on this a year ago. I finally have it mastered and figured since I was blogging and all I would show you!
Mom and Dad just really liked this outfit, especially it's lack of pink, so I blogged it too!
Go Team Itty Bitty!

Love- The Soccer Star Liah

I am changing my reputation!

I have been known as the laid-back, well-mannered, easy going, unassuming child. I have taken a backseat, as little sister, to my ham, center stage big sister.
I am here to tell you, "NO MORE!"
I am now a one year old big girl. I have my opinions and my own voice. Let me warn you, that voice is loud!

I am all about getting my way, the first time.
And I promise you, I can throw a tantrum like no other.
I can scream, yell and break eardrums.
I have even taken to back bending, leg kicking, head rubbing and dog tormenting!
Don't mess with Maia... the new motto of my home!

Thanks- Love- Miss Maia

Things to do on Spring break!

We took a few trips to the pool to work on our tans!
Maia was sporting her new 'kini from Gapa!
Mom liked working on her tan. She is going to tell people at school that she went to the beach!

Maia drove to the pool!
Liah had a wee tiny timeout at the pool for a few unfavored choices.
Liah was swimming like a big girl!
We posed for some front yard pics.

We snuggle-buggled with Stella.
We played hide and seek.
More trips to the pool!
More posing!
Maia is so big!
Liah finds every opportunity to strike a pose.... including cleaning up the loft!
We hung out and watched basketball!
We dressed Stella up!
We enjoyed the hot weather... outside. We were not so fond of the inside temp. So, we found ways to stay cool.
Maia hogged the fan!
We went to the park.
We had yummy food!
We tried new hairdos.
We slept on the floor.
We cleaned out the closets (barf!). We then donated 8 giant bags of clothes to charity!

Happy Easter!

Our day started seeing what the bunny brought and hid in our house...

Stella, our first born, was pretty mad because yet again she was forgotten in the present department, but tormented with festivities!
The girls got a life size Dora. (Let me tell you, in my stumbling morning blur, I saw Dora in the toy room and peed my pants a bit. She is so darn big I thought we had an intruder!)

Pound Puppies were high on the desire list. The girls got a litter! (With our 20% dog rate... this is it in ways of puppies for a long while!) We fondly named the puppies: Butterscotch, Peanutbutter, Easter & Wags.
Cheese... I mine Peeps... smile big for Easter!

We were then off to Gaga, Gapa and Aunt Manda's house! We had an egg hunt.

Their backyard is shaping up beautifully. I had to take a picture with the rose... more buds are popping up!
For every egg the girls found they got a correlating, non-egg fitting, no sugar added prize! Great idea!

Gapa tried his skills at bubble blowing. His vigorous turns led to a bubble covered Gaga. Good thing the bubbles are grape flavored!
The eggs awaited the heated competition!
We posed for Easter pictures.

Aunt Manda was out helping the Bunny until 7am!

Ummm... one of several pictures I have of big faces that were supposed to be watching the camera!

haha- Maia puts everything in her mouth... or tries!
We had the egg contest. Much to Gapa's dismay we started oldest to youngest again. After a near mishap, with Liah nearly hitting Maia directly with her egg, she brought home the victory!
Ahh sweet success. (Please notice a salty Gapa in the background, already peeling his loser egg!)
After a yummy dinner of steak, salmon, rice, spinach and buns... it was off to the park!
The girls (yep all of us) enjoyed running around and playing. This child (whom we do NOT know) became a fast friend. She even pushed our big butts on the swings!
We were all super tired when we got home!

Happy Easter!
