Happy Anniversary

September 28th, 2002 I went to Arizona for my first trip. Chris proposed to me that night.
It was completely amazing.
Life changing. Then came marriage June 28th, 2003.

Then, September 28, 2004.... little did we know (in this pic I was an unaware 1 month preggers)
We celebrated our anniversary.
9 months later came baby!
Liah Jane our sweet surprise!
We became a little family.

This September 28th.... boy has life changed. It's been a wild ride! In celebration, we dropped off:

and we went on a child free date. This was a real treat because we NEVER do it!
We actually went to a movie. (We haven't been to a movie in over 2 years!) My darling husband agreed to see The House Bunny (of course I loved it)!

We finished our date at Hooters (I had to pay him back ;)) for wings and drinks!

Yeah for September 28th! This year we promise no life changing, cross-country moving decisions and heaven help us... NO BABIES! :)

A day of play...

NO WAY! Today was the "worldwide day of play!" Nick (the kid's station) actually spent 3 hours off air to encourage children to get up and go outside.
At the gym they pushed "moving across America" week and even had a aerobics marathon this morning.
Did we participate in any of this!? Hek no! Not because we are lazy people. Quite often we are the get up and go, dance party, slip n slide in the backyard family.
However today, a day to celebrate our spunky side, we dressed alike and went and got DVDs and snacks!
We rested, did NO projects, played and watched a lot of t.v.! We like being different!
We will get back on the active train tomorrow and next week (we have golf, the zoo, painting, walking, swimming and fun planned!)!

Friday night fun

Liah prepared Friday for the game. She practiced her toe touches.
Not bad (she's 3!)!
Then we debuted the new shirts....
#1 cheerleader fronts.....

Mom got one too! Football "Widow" front....

Dad had the headphones on....

Then we were going to go out. However, The Gym went "Friday night" and wasn't very kid friendly.

We ordered food in.
Plugged in the strobe light and had a dance party!
It was fun!

Why the face?

I love my husband.
The other morning I got this face.....
Why you ask? Probably because instead of this.......
(Side note.... gosh he is hot!)
I asked him to do this..... Completely rearrange the family room!
It breaks up the furniture and provides more space.

Plus it allows for more projecting..... which I <3 so much!
Then, we were on to the last paint project. A real whopper!

I am nuk free!
I am taking matters into my own hands. Mom so rudely forgot to share my news. Must be a second child thing, or perhaps I am less of a dramatic Diva, possibly it's cause I just turned 18 months (not 3....) but Liah's big nuk farewell was a 3 day blog event! What gives Mom? I just handed the puppy over, okay so I cried a little the first day, but that was it. I didn't require a "Nuk-a Fairy" or a bribe. No nip cutting or back-up nuk hiding, I went off cold turkey. I haven't even really shown signs of withdrawal symptoms and you aren't going to have to shell out the big bucks for braces or speech therapists (like my un-named Nuk worshipping sis)! Now praise me, oooh and ahhh, buy ME something! Someone better show some love!

cookie crumbs, fruit, pudding, mini-marshmallows, smores (melted chocolate and marshmallow)
